VK4WIE at the 50th ORARC Hamfest
On the 6th and 7th of June, VK4WIE proudly attended the 50th Hamfest hosted by the Oxley Region
Amateur Radio Club (VK2BOR), celebrating a remarkable milestone for one of New South Wales’ long-
running amateur radio events.
Arriving early to establish a trade display, VK4WIE showcased a range of products from the VK4WIE
Club Shop, attracting interest from amateur radio operators from across the region. Visitors had the
opportunity to see the club’s products firsthand, ask questions, and learn more about the solutions
developed and supported by VK4WIE.
Alongside the club shop range, VK4WIE also offered a selection of quality second-hand amateur radio
equipment, with many items finding new homes throughout the weekend.
The Hamfest provided an excellent opportunity for VK4WIE to connect with the wider amateur radio
community. The stand became a popular meeting point where operators exchanged stories, discussed
projects, and shared their enthusiasm for the hobby.
VK4WIE congratulates the Oxley Region Amateur Radio Club (VK2BOR) on achieving the significant
milestone of hosting its 50th Hamfest. It was a privilege to participate in this historic event, and VK4WIE
looks forward to supporting future Hamfests and continuing to serve the amateur radio community.
